Back from another trip to Chile
From ALPHA to OMEGA. After giving a keynote lecture at the Opening Symposium in March 2023, I am very grateful that I was again invited over to Chile to close the Anillo Project of my friends from Talca and Temuco, celebrating the Closing Symposium of their project. I just hope that the presentation of our work here in Madrid, as a Special Invited Guest Speaker, met the expectations.
Over the past three years, it was an authentic pleasure to follow the progress of the work of my friends and see it flourishing. I am also very happy that our lab was able to collaborate with small contributions in some parts.
The Chilean crew made great advances and solidified their research lines in the fields of drought stress mitigation and plant-microbe interaction. I am also very happy about the interesting conversations we had in our spiritual retreat in the Lake District in Chile, just a few kilometers south of Temuco.
In brief, it was a blast!!!
