National Accreditation to apply for Full Professorship: CHECK

Well, what shall I say. 2019 brought some pretty nice surprises for me. Just 10 month after being promoted to Associate Professor at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas (ETSIAAB) of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), I now received the positive evaluation from the Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación (ANECA) of my ACADEMIA application for National Accreditation as Catedrático de Universidad. It took me over three weeks to gather all documents and to compile the +600 pages containing pdf file. Anyways, if the outcome is positive it is always worth any minute. However, still one last hurdle to take. Let’s see what 2020 will bring, I’ll keep on pounding…
